At The Woodlands Diversion, we celebrate diversity and are deeply committed to nurturing artistic talent across all ages and backgrounds. We are currently seeking outstanding young musicians, ages 15 to 25 (high school through graduate school), who demonstrate exceptional skill on their instrument and are interested in performing with our organization.

Interested applicants are invited to submit a live video recording featuring two contrasting solo pieces (solo instrument with piano or orchestral accompaniment is acceptable). While professional studio recordings are not required, the audio should clearly reflect the applicant’s musical ability. Please note: submissions must be single-take recordings with no edits or splicing.

For our 2025–2026 season, we are programming the following instruments:

• Accordion

• Bass (upright; classical and/or jazz)

• Cello

• Guitar (jazz)

• Saxophone (jazz)

• Trumpet

• Viola

• Violin

• Voice
